Temples

There are several temples in Thorrur town and its villages.

1. Shivalayam
2. Vekateshawara Swami temple: Located in Sannur village, it is probably the oldest temple in Thorrur mandal. The temple is constructed with carved stone, giving it an ancient appearance.
3. Murali krishna temple: Near bus stand, newly constructed.

Besides the temples, there is mosque and a church too.
